... thanks Stuart :) - Now - I was curious and this is what I found. You're right Stuart, this mushroom is edible. - But, you should be very careful, because of the risk of confusion with similar mushroom corals. Culinary Notes Although not known to cause poisoning, the Yellow Stagshorn fungus is generally regarded as inedible because of its gelatinous texture, lack of flavour and insubstantial proportions - although some sources do list it as edible but of very little culinary value except to add colour to other mushroom dishes. .. my guess, Stuart, dont try it :)
