Massa lives with two elderly women, Tumba and Boma in the
Seniors group of gorillas in the "KREFELDER ZOO".
The experts of the zoo Krefeld keep them in an age-appropriate retirement home in the monkey house and look after the very old monkeys with love and respect.

He is about 47 or 48 years old and the third oldest silverback in Europe.
He raised two children with Tumba and five with Boma. They also have children and grandchildren. He is multiple great-grandfather.
The two women are about 40/41 years old.
