Mushroom snail - Malacolimax tenellus - Family: Limacidre - up to 4 - 5 cm long, yellowish-transparent slug (Limax) with a darker head and sometimes darker longitudinal ligaments and behind gekieltem back; lives in forests (preferably coniferous forests) of northern and central Europe of mushrooms. In Great Britain widespread but local, absent from large regions, and undoubtedly declining, threatened by clear felling and replanting of forests. Vulnerable in Rheinland-Pfalz, sensitive to habitat change in Spain, rare in Bulgaria.
